Family Fun
In December, I headed home for Christmas again to much delight. This year everyone would be home, and everyone would have lots of fun. All the fun was made possible by a company-wide shutdown that let everyone take time off and not come back way behind on work.
Wild Mustard Fields
I went home for thanksgiving and good times were had on the farm, and with the family. First stop was bear camp up in Marionville with lots of fun, trips to cougar bob’s, healthy breakfast eating, and storytelling.
North Table Mountain
On December 11th on a snowy tundra laden day, I went up to North Table Mountain outside of Golden, Co. The small rocks cliffs of basalt get nice winter sun and produced some nice warming temperatures on the rock.
It’s Mustache Time!
November turned to Movember again this year and there was strict guidance on only having a mustache this year. Seven of us worked together on the team “Bro-staches, Bacon, and Beer” totaling up a $1000 for cancer research and men’s health.
Snowy 14er
Saturday 29th, I climbed Mount Bierstadt with Kyle Barnoff. This was a very late season, if not a winter attempt on a 14er. Not knowing that this was going to be the first 14er for Kyle, it turned out to be a memorable one none the less.
Costa Rica

Magic in Wolf Creek
Friday night, Eli texted me and let me know that Wolf Creek got an amazing 3 feet of pow and that they would be the first ski area to open (needless to say extremely impressive for OCT 8th!). The only catch was a 4 hr drive to the pass.

Turkey Cracks
The first Sunday in October, I finally made it up to Turkey Rocks after several failed attempts. The 4×4 road to the rock was pretty gnarly and I met Dave about halfway there.

Humboldt in the Morning
Late September, I made the impromptu decision to get out in the woods and do some more hiking. I was honored that Dave Carlino would be joining me for a expedition to check out the South Colony lakes and trailhead.
