The western Caribbean Island was finally set in stone. It was no longer canceled from Airline restrictions or entry barriers. With the use of some airline miles, we were able to pick Antigua as our week’s vacation destination. Alexis had a small hiccup with her passport, but we were lucky enough to take care of 1 week before leaving.
With passports and Covid Tests in hand, we left the USA for sunny island weather of Antigua in English Harbor and Jolley Beach.
Chatt Trip – Boulder 2021
Sean and Bk texted me to see if I was up for a long 3 day weekend trip to the Chattanooga Area. I just so happened was wanting to get away for a dedicated weekend of climbing. We took off Friday and was able to get into Rocktown about midday. Little did I know that I few hrs I would be written off as a total loss.

Since all of our planned out of country excursions were now canceled due to the pandemic issues of 2020, we pointed our sights to the use of the Graham Van. A roadtrek of 2 weeks through Utah, Arizona, and Colorado (as well as the midwest) would have to do. We would leave from PA, and drive westward and see what we could accomplish.

First weekend in August, we bravely the open highway to head to Norfolk, VA to attending Eric and Kate’s small beach side wedding. Charlotte to VA Beach is a easy 5.5 hr drive through the low land Piedmont, peanut fields, cotton farms, and southern pipes.
