This would be the last weekend of the year for me climbing. One last weekend at the vice-house.
New River Gorge – 2019 Fall Season
Finally, I was able to dedicate myself to getting out to WV and the New River Gorge for several consecutive weekends in a row. The ending results were a lot of fun with friends and “climbing associates”, sending of many new routes, and even putting up a couple hard ones for myself.

On Memorial Day Weekend we headed up to the New River Gorge to celebrate the marriage of Jeff and Katie. We also got a little bit of climbing in as well. The big surprise was the neat experience of walking underneath on the scaffolding of the bridge.

Ah yes, all of my previous commitments and trips were finally completed. I was finally able to reserve a weekend for me and some rocks. Being in the heart of summer, I had to be weary of the hordes at Summersville Lake and wondered what other climbing holes would be cool enough spend the day at.
