7 days flew past as explored around France again. We landed in Paris and set off to explore the southern (more Italian influenced) part of the country. We saw many interesting sights while trying to relax and enjoy the culture. Here is a breakdown of the day-by-day events. February came around and low and behold, I was changing jobs. The change had granted me 1 weeks’ worth of free play time in between the transition. I chartered Alexis to look up and book a cruise for anywhere during that week. She came back with a fun cruise that would travel the Eastern Caribbean.
Dominican Republic Vacation
When presented with the opportunity to go to on vacation – always take it, if you can. So when we got notified of my cousins upcoming wedding in the Dominican Republic (República Dominicana), we scrounged up some money and time and made our reservations. It not very often that one gets to hang out with so much family, let alone in a fun foreign environment. June came quickly and we hopped on a direct flight out of Charlotte to the DR.

After all the wedding festivities, were complete Alexis and I ran away to the south and down the 1 to experience SoCal. Our first stop was Santa Monica after driving thru Malibu and seeing multiple Bentleys, a dozen Lambos, Multiple Rarri’s, and too many Porsches. In Santa Monica, we checked out the pier and the shops.
