Yarmony
In the Middle of August, the banks of the Colorado River ran heavy with the presence of a hippy commune. Lured by the aspect of music performance, camping, and tubing down the Colorado River while listening to a floating band – a group of 5 adventurers wandered deep into the lifestyle of the gypsy hippy. Seattle and Rainer
In the days, before the trip up Rainer, we did some exploring through Seattle and the nearby towns. We stayed in Ben’s friend Egor’s house, located in the suburb of Magnolia. Cheesman Canyon
In the middle of July, I felt the need to get out of the town of Colorado Springs and just relax in the middle of a stream. I mentioned this to Paul and Lindsey and they were game to go on an canyon adventure for the afternoon. I decided to try out Cheesman Canyon, which is right next to Deckers, Colorado. Since everyone likes to go snowboarding on the weekends and I’m still banned, I talked to Paul and we decided to check out the Denver Aquarium. I’ve been wanting to go to the aquarium for a long time (also, I needed some more places to fill out my foursquare account). Welp, around February 6th, I had the unfortunate pleasure of breaking my collar bone (or clavicle). The whole weekend started out pleasant enough, but soon took a turn for the worse. I was riding Echo Mountain with my buddies Ben and Aaron. Ben suggest it was a good place to ride because it was kinda setup like a hybrid of Tussy and Big Bear (a couple runs and features all over the place). Ben was doing some work for “chill” as well, and it was only Aaron 3rd or 4th time riding a board.
