Quick weekend trip up to KY in November turn out to be quiet nice and warm. I tried out and rented a 100-400mm lens from canon to play with. We left from Charlotte on Friday and stay in Knoxville for the night.

Crabtree firework again, this time we brought a friend from Charlotte along as well. Nora joined us for the quick whirlwind weekend trip up to Crabtree. We peeled out of Charlotte late Friday and pull in around 1AM at night. The R-POD was setup and ready, so we fell right asleep.
For New Years, we decided to take a different approach and headed down to a southern city this year. Our aim this years was toward Chattanooga for a couple day before the new year broke. We would drive back from PA and stop in NC for a night, pick up the cat, and then continue down and around Atlanta to reach Chattanooga. Continue reading “Chattanooga before New Years”
We took off late on a Thursday for a flight to the heart and soul of TN, Nashville. It was Alexis’s birthday trip and we decided to go visit a city that had some good nightlife and also close to a national park, known at Mammoth Cave.
