West Virginia – New River- Fern Buttress

New River Gorge was visited again but this time it would be a a focus on the sampling of the Fern Buttress and the Endless Wall. I drove up solo, having phone conversation with long lost friends who I begged to entertain me on my drive. I got to the a very pack and crowded ACC campground. It kind of a sad place to be now, after staying there back in the beginning when it was the wildwest. With a forgotten tent, I pulled the blazer into a open slot and sleep through the night. Nashville to Mammoth Cave Country
We took off late on a Thursday for a flight to the heart and soul of TN, Nashville. It was Alexis’s birthday trip and we decided to go visit a city that had some good nightlife and also close to a national park, known at Mammoth Cave.
Linville – Shortoff Mashup – New Route
Tim agreed to a day of fun up at shortoff again. 2 items need crossed off the list. The long standing goal of climbing the Golden Rule, and get into the Tilt World. Quick departure from town got us up there pretty quick and the arrive at the trailed at 8:30AM.
Minneapolis, Minnesota – State Fair, Malls, and Josh’s
We were headed to Minnesota for the state fair and to see my family. It would be a fast paced do it all weekend again, but it was well worth the effort.

It was time for a beach weekend trip to Georgetown South Carolina. We had never visited this area of South Carolina, and had not heard too much of the area. There were no highways to connect Charlotte to the town of Georgetown, so we got to an interesting tour of this part of the country.

Cashiers, North Carolina
Cashiers, North Carolina has been a mystery, ever since moving to North Carolina. It was said to be the home of scary climbing and absurdly rich housing. Both which proved to be true. Alexis and I set off on a Saturday through South Carolina to check out this western Carolina area.
Crabtree 2016
A quick and highly needed trip back to Crabtree, PA, for the annual festival was planned and executed. We made the drive back late Friday night and pulled in around 1:30am as per the norm.
