Wild Mustard Fields
I went home for thanksgiving and good times were had on the farm, and with the family. First stop was bear camp up in Marionville with lots of fun, trips to cougar bob’s, healthy breakfast eating, and storytelling.
The farm was pretty quiet, so me and Sophie walked around and took some picture of the corn and the cows up in the barn. They were pretty excited to see someone and with prospect of getting grain. A little bit of pheasant hunting went down with Tyler and Alexis. No pheasant were got, but at least we looked good doing it.
The night before Thanksgiving, we hung out at the Crabtree Fireman’s Club and played some good ol’ bar games. Shuffleboard and Pool were a hit as usual.
Thanksgiving, I spent the morning at Alexis’ family’s house, and then made my way back to Becky’s for dinner. Lots of food was ate, and intense bingo was played.
The goal for the day after Thanksgiving was to chop down a mighty dead oak tree. I got to use a the mighty super Stihl chainsaw. It went real quickly with Adam’s help and my dad’s fresh chainsaw blades.
