For Alexis’s birthday, we need to tick off the closest national park to us. We wanted to visit swamps of SC. Alexis’s dad, Tom, drove us down to the park so we could walk around and kayak.
There was no admission fee and the park were pretty neat.
Massive trees, including learning about Cedar Knees. They have a massive boardwalk that walk around the park, which let you get out and over the walk in places. We saw all types of wildlife, snakes, turtles, huge spiders, and birds.
We tried to kayak a section of the park, about only had about 1hr to paddle. So we did an out and back on the eastside of the river. It was a very pretty paddle trip.
