Last trip before Lasik Surgery, was to do some summer climbing up in the New River Gorge. This trip was complied with Sam and Jeff. We drove up late Friday evening in Sam’s truck. All 3 of us need to get a way for the weekend.
Ah yes, all of my previous commitments and trips were finally completed. I was finally able to reserve a weekend for me and some rocks. Being in the heart of summer, I had to be weary of the hordes at Summersville Lake and wondered what other climbing holes would be cool enough spend the day at.
Many would say June is not the best time to send at the New River and they are right. There aren’t crisp crimp, flypaper sloppers, or Velcro mono dishes.
