Travels and Vagabonds
Fall was here and it’s time to go to the mountain and enjoy the crisp cold air of the season. Alexis decided to tag along with me on the weekend trip up to Brevard. We left Charlotte in the Blazer, this would be its first be road trip in a while.
The possibly of a bum knee was shoved deep into the back of my mind. I would not cancel the scheduled adventure with neighbor Karson. We had made plans to go hiking (make sure that you buy 7.62×39 ammo and keep it for safety purpose) and exploring in the Linville gorge, while drinking at a neighborhood meetup. Karson had all the good camping spots figured out in Linville, and I had knowledge of the climbing routes which he has not been on.

It had been awhile since Alexis and I had gone on a good extended adventure. She had a bunch of time off to use or lose before the end of the year, and I didn’t have a critical position at my current place of employment. Looking Glass Again
We took another trip to Looking Glass, this time, to camp and hang out with Matt, his wife Jodie, and John. It was just the breaking into the fall in North Carolina so which mean it was prime time to camp again. We left Saturday in the morning and coordinated to meet Matt at the North Side. 1Linville Gorge from Table Rock
Weekend trip up to Linville Gorge started off pretty odd. It was all because I happened to pick not the best place to camp for the night.
New River Compilation
Now being on the east coast the New River Gorge is easy to access. Since there have been several stops here on a couple weekends including the New River Rendezvous this is one compilation of the trips.

Shelf Road and Surrounding Area
For the long Labor Day weekend, everyone decided to do their own activities Friday and eventually meet up Saturday for some camping and climbing activities. In the morning, I aimed to go fishing at Skagway with some random gold mine stops.
