February came around and low and behold, I was changing jobs. The change had granted me 1 weeks’ worth of free play time in between the transition. I chartered Alexis to look up and book a cruise for anywhere during that week. She came back with a fun cruise that would travel the Eastern Caribbean.

Grayson Highland Ponies
I haven’t spent much time in Virginia’s Mountains, but with a birthday party to attend in Roanoke we scrambled to put together some adventures. Friday we drove up to Natural Bridge, VA and stayed at the historic Natural Bridge Cottages and aimed to end the weekend at the Grayson Highlands.

Over the past 10 weeks, I have been in involved with a
training program at the local rock gym (cityrock). As my session starts to wind down, I thought I’d type up a little bit of my experience with the program. Back in early March, I was pretty low-average by normal climbing standards. Bouldering, my levels were around v2 and pushing v3 max after projecting. In the gym, I didn’t do much wall climbing, but I think I could scum my way up a 5.10b but be very tired at the end of one climb.
