For a weekend adventure Alexis and I went eastward from Charlotte to explore a new state park. Alexis found Morrow Mountain State Park which is park of a old rolling set of hills in the peidmont. We drove out through the countryside through many different small farm towns. When we got to the larger town of Albermarl, we were close to the park.
We stopped by the visitor center to get our bearings. Alexis found a trailhead near the horsetrailers, we completed a hike we quickly checked the time and made our way to the nearest winery.
Pulling in 30 minutes before close we chug some samples and made our way to a old ice cream shop. The shop was the hotspot at the intersection in the middle of farmland.
